This is a unique opportunity for an enterprising and inspirational leader to join the Senior Leadership Team at what is currently a 14 school Multi-Academy Trust.

The post-holder will form an integral part of the strategic leadership of Excalibur Academies Trust and provide extensive day-to-day support on finance and resources matters relating to the Trust.

The Chief Financial Officer will be responsible for: 

• strategic oversight of budget setting, capital planning and financial controls.
• providing advice and guidance to the CEO and Trust Board on all aspects of non-academic operations.
• providing advice and guidance to the Board of Directors on Governance processes.
• supporting the CEO and Board in developing the Strategic Plan, with particular focus on finance, HR, premises and IT.

The role can be based at any one of our secondary schools, homeworking is welcomed, with the expectation of being in Marlborough 1-2 days per week.
